Custom Jade Bead Bracelets — Natural Stone Beads, Grade and Finish to Spec

Jade is the trade name for two different minerals, nephrite and jadeite, and the two behave differently as beads. Nephrite is the tougher, more common material; jadeite is the denser one that takes a better polish and takes dye more readily. Before we quote, tell us which family you mean — that question decides the price band more than anything else.

Treatment is the part most buyers get wrong. A lot of jade on the market at a low price point has been bleached, impregnated or dyed to get the color the buyer asked for. That is a normal commercial trade practice, but it is not "natural color". If you order the enhanced option, you get treated stone, and your listing says enhanced. If you order the natural option, you get untreated stone with its own color variation. We do not blur the line between the two, and we put the treatment on the spec sheet so the listing and the shipment agree.

A jade bead strand has no metal against the skin except the findings. The stone is not metal. The clasp, end caps, spacer beads and any metal core are the metal parts, and those are what we test against EN 1811 nickel-release. See compliance and testing.

Specify before we quote: nephrite or jadeite, grade band, bead shape and size, target strand length, cord or thread, clasp and findings metal, your target price band and quantity.

What the samples show: the first photo is three strands of different gauge worn together on one wrist, which is the cheapest way to see a size run before you commit to it. The second is a pale strand, off-white to light green in the same drum — the kind of tone variation you should plan your listing copy around. The third and fourth show the beads loose, on velvet, in full strand and in mini bead: what the strand looks like on the wrist and what it looks like in a bulk pack are two different sales photos, so we ship both. The last two are the green stock with a carved fish charm and a charm-strung version of the same bead. None of these photos grade the stone for you. Color, clarity and how clean the bead face is are named on the spec sheet — we do not grade a purchase from photos.

FAQ

Is our jade natural or treated? Both are available and we quote them as separate options. Tell us which one you want and it is written on the spec sheet. What we will not do is sell treated jade as untreated — if a listing says natural and the shipment was enhanced, that is a returns problem and a review problem for you, not just ours.

What does the grade band actually cover? Color, clarity and how clean the bead face is. A tight band gives you a more uniform strand and costs more per bead. Be honest about how uniform your market expects before you set the band.

Can I combine jade with other beads? Yes — jade with metal beads or turquoise both come up. Give us the order and the ratio.

Can you match a strand I already sell? Send photos of the bead face under daylight and the clasp. We reproduce the structure and quote your grade and volume.

How long does a bead bracelet order take? Jade beads and findings are stock components and the strand is assembled by hand, so samples take about 15 days and bulk production runs about 25 days from your approved sample.

Can I order the graduated sizes shown in the first photo? Yes, as a size run in one order. Mixing gauges on one wrist means more cutting and more cord ends per unit, so the run is quoted as one build, not as separate styles. Tell us the three diameters and we confirm what is stock and what has to be cut.

Grade and treatment are the two variables that set what this strand is. Pick the band you can sell honestly and we quote it.

Each option is a different price point and a different wear profile — quote them against your target market in the RFQ.

• Bead material: built in jade stone — every bead is checked by eye at incoming QC for colour consistency, hole alignment and surface defects, then re-checked after stringing.
• Treatment disclosure: bead material can be natural or treated (stabilised, dyed or heat-treated). Whichever you order is written on the spec sheet — we do not sell treated stone as untreated.
• Metal parts only: the clasp, end caps and any metal findings are the only metal in the piece and are checked against EN 1811 / EN 12472 nickel-release before shipment (see compliance & testing).
• Cord & construction: elastic or waxed cord is specified by diameter, stretch and knot finish — the cord is a textile, so we spec it but make no metal-free certification claim for it.
• Process control: ~15-day samples, ~25-day bulk production for a bead strand, QC on every batch before shipment.
