Product details
Tiger's eye is a fibrous quartz where the bands run parallel while the fibre is bent, which is what produces the moving silky sheen when the bead turns in the light. It is cut and tumbled into beads, then strung. We do not cut the stone — we specify it, buy it to grade and string it.
Treatment is not decoration, tell us which you want. Untreated material carries the stone's own color range, so beads from one strand can differ. Heat-treated material is more uniform. Both are legitimate products and both are sold for what they are. Which one you order is written on your spec sheet; we do not sell treated material as untreated, and we will not let a listing call heat-treated stone "natural color" in wording we have written.
The finding metal matters more than the stone for compliance. Tiger's eye is a non-metal, so the only metal on the finished piece is the clasp and end caps. Those are tested against EN 1811 nickel-release. See compliance and testing.
Specify before you quote: treated or untreated, bead shape and size, target strand length, cord type, clasp and findings metal, your target price band and quantity. If you are starting from a competitor's strand, send a photo of the bead face and the clasp.
What the samples show: golden-brown tiger's eye with the banding running through every bead — some strands carry darker, near-black beads alongside classic gold, which is the stone's own variation. The size-run photo displays sample bracelets labelled 6 mm to 18 mm. All photographed styles are elastic stretch fits; waxed-cord and clasp versions are quoted to spec. The treatment grade you buy (natural or heat-treated) is the one named on the spec sheet — we do not grade a purchase from photos.
FAQ
Is tiger's eye a natural stone or lab-made? Natural tiger's eye exists as a mineral and is what we buy — it is not synthesised in a lab. The only variable we control is treatment, and that is listed as an option above.
What does heat-treated mean for my listing? It means the color was deepened with heat. You can still describe the stone as tiger's eye; you should not describe it as untreated or as its natural color if you ordered the heat-treated option. We put the exact wording on the spec sheet so your listing matches what shipped.
Will the color fade? Untreated material keeps the color it has; it is a stable mineral color, not a dye. If you pick a dyed look for a different stone in the same range, that is a different material and we say so.
Can I combine tiger's eye with other beads? Yes. Mixed strands with metal beads or agate are common; give us the bead order and ratio.
How long does a bead bracelet order take? The stone is stock material and the strand is assembled by hand, so samples take about 15 days and bulk production runs about 25 days from your approved sample.
Which bead sizes can I order? The photographed size run goes from 6 mm to 18 mm. Name the size or sizes you want in your inquiry and they are quoted into the strand structure — bead size changes both the price and the finished weight per piece.

- Bead material: built in tiger's eye stone — every bead is checked by eye at incoming QC for colour consistency, hole alignment and surface defects, then re-checked after stringing.
- Treatment disclosure: bead material can be natural or treated (stabilised, dyed or heat-treated). Whichever you order is written on the spec sheet — we do not sell treated stone as untreated.
- Metal parts only: the clasp, end caps and any metal findings are the only metal in the piece and are checked against EN 1811 / EN 12472 nickel-release before shipment (see compliance & testing).
- Cord & construction: elastic or waxed cord is specified by diameter, stretch and knot finish — the cord is a textile, so we spec it but make no metal-free certification claim for it.
