How to measure at home
- Bracelet / bangle. Wrap a strip of paper snugly around the wrist bone you will wear it on, mark the overlap, measure in mm. That is your wrist circumference — the calculator adds ~18 mm for the clasp and a comfortable gap.
- Necklace. Measure around the neck at the base (where a necklace naturally sits), in mm. The calculator maps that to the common length tiers (choker / princess / matinee / opera).
- Bangle note. A rigid bangle has no clasp, so it must pass over the hand. The calculator also shows the equivalent inner diameter — when in doubt, size the bangle to your knuckle, not your wrist.
Why size matters for stainless steel

FAQ
Should I size up for charms? Yes — beads and charms add effective length; go up one size if the bracelet will be loaded.
My wrist is between sizes. For a chain bracelet, size up; the clasp hides the slack. For a bangle, size to the knuckle.
Does this work for anklets? Yes — treat an anklet like a bracelet but add a little more (ankles sit lower and swell more); +25 mm on the wrist figure is a safe start.
